Introduction
There are two sets of dashboard lights for learning and development. These are displayed under the headings of:
- Training for Key Roles - which are switched ON by default
- Learning and Development - which are switched OFF by default
A diocese can choose which set to they want to use ...and they can even choose to use both.
Training for Key Roles
The first set of lights is switched ON by default. They look like this....
The main advantage of this set of lights is their simplicity. However, they don't collect information about the numbers of people that need to be trained.
Learning and Development
The second set of lights is switched OFF by default. They look like this....
You can switch on some or all of the following six lights:
- Basic Awareness Pathway
- Foundation Pathway
- Leadership Pathway
- Parish Safeguarding Officer Induction Pathway
- Domestic Abuse Pathway
- Safer Recruitment and People Management Pathway
The main advantage of this set of lights is that they collect information about the numbers of people that need to be trained (see below). However, this makes them slightly more complex for parishes to use.
