The bespoke Cathedral Dashboard is a completely new system that will require ongoing maintenance and support. The cost of this work will be covered by a modest Annual Fee.
Who will pay the Annual Fee in 2026?
Guildford Cathedral has been awarded a grant from the National Safeguarding Team Innovation and Impact Fund. Part of this grant covers the Annual Fee for every cathedral in 2026, and therefore cathedrals will pay nothing.
Who will pay the Annual Fee in 2027?
From 2027 onwards, the Annual Fee will be paid by each cathedral. Alternatively, if the diocese agrees to pay half the cost, then a cathedral will pay about £200 + VAT.
There will be no charge if a cathedral chooses not to use their dashboard from 2027 onwards.
