There are two types of dashboard members:

• Owners - can update the dashboard, and they can also invite other people to be Owners or Viewers
• Viewers - can view a dashboard, but can't update it

You can check if you are an Owner or Viewer by selecting Dashboard Members at the bottom of your dashboard Home page.
 

Dashboard Owners

Only an Owner can update the dashboard or invite other people to be Owners or Viewers.

Most dashboards only need one or two Owners, but more can be added if needed.
 

Dashboard Viewers

A Viewer can view a dashboard, but can't update it.

The Diocesan Safeguarding Officer will be a Viewer, and it is recommended that an Owner also invites:

• The Dean
• Members of the Chapter
• Their Regional Safeguarding Lead
   

How does a Dashboard Owner invite others?

An Owner can invite someone to be an Owner or Viewer as follows:

1. Sign in to Cathedral Dashboards  at www.cathedraldashboards.org.uk
2. Go to Dashboard Members near the bottom of the page)
3. Select Invite someone new
4. Enter their email address
5. Only tick the box if you are inviting them to be an Owner
6. Press Send

A Dashboard Owner can also remove someone's access to the dashboard by selecting their name.
