Why is the dashboard being upgraded?
The 2024 upgrade helps a parish to comply with mandatory safeguarding requirements, and to evaluate their progress towards the National Safeguarding Standards.

Safeguarding standards
The upgraded dashboard clearly shows the progress that has been made towards each of the five National Safeguarding Standards.
Mandatory requirements
Mandatory requirements are found in the safeguarding guidance issued by the House of Bishops, and also in the new Safeguarding Code.
Good practice
In addition to mandatory requirements, the National Safeguarding Standards also include descriptions of good practice.
New dashboard lights
As part of the 2024 Upgrade, new dashboard lights are being added to the dashboard.
